Skincode was founded in Zurich in 1998 by the noble Massalsky family. The brand's heritage is linked to pioneering Swiss research in the field of medical-grade skincare and anti-aging cellular therapies. Even today, all our products are developed in Switzerland.
From the very beginning, the Skincode team has collaborated with renowned Swiss dermatologists, ingredient specialists, and experienced laboratories to bring the latest achievements in dermatological science and research into our products.

Since our inception, the Skincode team has collaborated with renowned Swiss dermatologists, ingredient specialists, and experienced laboratories to incorporate the latest achievements in science and dermatological research into our products.
Whenever possible, Skincode uses ingredients that attract and retain moisture, such as glycerin, glycols, and sodium polyacrylate. By reducing the water activity, i.e., the amount of free water in a cosmetic product, these ingredients inhibit the growth of microorganisms and protect the formula from microbial contamination.
Preservatives are added only when necessary and in the required amount. Their selection considers the type of product, the purpose and area of use, consumer needs, packaging, water content, and interaction with other ingredients.
When the use of preservatives is necessary to maintain the stability of the formula, Skincode uses the lowest concentration that ensures adequate effectiveness. Thus, products remain safe and protected from contamination throughout their use.
